My Firefox is also a hog plus with the addons it takes ages to load, so thats why I've just primarily to Chrome.

Yea mine takes 120mb of my 4gb of ram, i wanna die when i see how much it's using :p

It takes up 120mg on mine but i have enough ram that I really don't care.

Last week it was fine and now its very slow and worst of all there is no addons running or spyware,viruses..etc on the pc.

This is normal FF does use a lot of memory.
And guys Chrome is just as bad, you must remember that is is Sandboxed so you must add up all your Chrome.exe's to get the true memory usage.
Check this out (4 tabs open = 3 MyBB 1 News 24 :
Browser Private Shared Total Private Mapped
Chromium 2.0.172.31 81,612k 6,402k 88,014k 78,264k 25,112k
To get this:
Right click on chrome in the task bar.
Select Taskmanager
Stats for nerds (at the bottom)
Stop telling me how efficient Chrome is
And guys Chrome is just as bad, you must remember that is is Sandboxed so you must add up all your Chrome.exe's to get the true memory usage.

For me it's about how fast chrome's UI is and how much more efficient it feels. I don't mind the few MB's of RAM, but Chrome is way faster than FF.

Chrome is like unrefined gold whilst Firefox seems a tin foil covered rock, you just have to remember that Roman wasn't built in a day.
