Hello

My notebook can't pick up any usb devices plugged into it.
I searched google for USB drivers bu can't find any.
I can't format the PC and re-install windos as I have a lot of password stored on this.

I've got a Acer Travelmate 3270

What OS are you using? You don't need USB drivers from XP SP1.

I'm using XP with SP3...

I've read some more about this onlne, looks like there's nothing I can do..

No USB divices are recognized or works, it's as if all the native windows drivers are gone.

I really don't want to format bu looks like the only option at the moment

Download and reinstall your motherboard drivers from http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html

Try reinstall SP3, much quicker as a first step. Are there any unrecognised devices in device manager? Can you see the USB ports in device manager?

I also had a problem with a Acer Power F6 pc, The USB ports and Optical storage drives were locked,

I uninstalled Acer eLock Management 2.6 and Acer eDataSecurity Management and got it working again
