I'd just like to find out where the best and cheapest places are to get buy US Itunes gift cards?

I know igear sells them at ridiculous mark-ups and have2have also has them for a bit less.

Any other suggestions?

I've had a friend buy me a few codes from MaximusCards http://www.maximuscards.com/itempage.php?cat=6 and that worked well for me (as I won some PayPal credit online so needed to use it)

I've been purchasing from itunes@iafrica.com This is quite great as you just have to deposit the money and send you the code. Based in Joburg, so payment not a problem, you can just do a cash deposit or paypal. No problems and have puchased a number of gift cards from them, they have them available in a few denominations, normally just get the $50

I used tiktok.co.za but their website is down atm. A quick scan on trusty old myBB for a suitable vendor, and 5 minutes later, I've loaded 10 usd onto my itunes account using wildtwig.co.za. Quick and easy and now I've done my 10 dollar trial, I'll use them again and again.

need desperately some itunes vouchers but wildtwig has some new rules i.e. only purchases allowed by account holders and currently they not accepting the creation of new accounts. Not cool.

mp3sa has no stock.
Maximum cards does not use paypal anylonger but has stocks. Any idea on how secure or trustworthy this is or if there is any alternatives to purchase US itunes vouchers?

i tried maximus cards and there was no problems. Used verified by visa and the transaction went quickly and i also got the email with the voucher within seconds!

As per previous mail, many sellers were out of stock, no longer creating accs, or over priced etc and I found maximus cards to have stock and handle the transaction quickly and securely. I've been happily spending my iTunes moola since :)

Email delivery is near instantaneous, and you earn loyalty points each time you buy that convert into discounts (eventually). +1 I agree that Jessica (owner) does not always reply quickly (longest I had to wait was 3 days when she was on vacation).

PayPal has the same problem as card payments i.e. for the US they are required to validate that your card address matches your physical address; which unless you have a us card won't.

Set up Paypal via FNB over the past two days - transferred $55, hit Wildtwig for a $50 voucher, instantly received the code - redeemeed it in iTunes last night - and BAM.... down to $21.01 already.... going to use the remainder to purchase a few individual magazine issues, to check what I like, before purchasing the full subscription...

The short of it - US itunes account/Fnb & Paypal/Wildtwig - works a treat....

Now - all I need, is the actual Ipad 2.... :whistle:
Hopefully UTI will have it in my hands tomorrow....

Silly question(?) - but am I correct in thinking that you can only purchase from Your Paypal account if money is actually reflected there? I have a vague recollection of reading that it is possible to transact before your 'topup' has been cleared from FNB into PayPal... But surely that can't be? Just thought I'd check....

I had this for a while yes, I had a US Mailing address and bought a US prepaid credit card on some forum where they sell it.... linked it with my US Paypal account and worked a treat... but the card was only valid for 6 months and cost me $60 with $0 credit on it.

Yep. There is much content we can't get on the local market, which is probably the reason most of us are have dubious billing addresses. But we do pay for the content, so that does count for something. On the other side of the coin, I'm not sure how the international account influences the VAT we're supposed to pay?

Their orders seem to involve a manual step, so it can appear the order has been accepted, but later they will cancel it. So don't count your vouchers until the code is in your inbox.

I think NiTeD's order will be cancelled. If you look at the checkout page on BestBuy.com, next to the country drop-down, there is a link entitled "Important Note for International Customers".
Clicking this brings up a new window. If you scroll down a bit you will see this:

"Special Note about Apple® iTunes Codes

You may not use an international credit card to purchase an iTunes Code. If you attempted to purchase an iTunes Code from Best Buy in the US using an international credit card, your entire order will be automatically canceled."

You'll pay a premium in most cases. After all people don't subsidize their businesses but actually do this for profit. In cases where you don't pay some form of a premium, the chances are good the code was generated using a code generator. Apple may hammer you if you do that and close your account.

I don't like their ways of always protecting the sellers... I much prefer eBays approach.

There have been way to many threads on here of BoB doing very little to help people who have been scammed.

Nevermind the fact that those vouchers are serverly overpriced.

I use epointsdelivered.com. Keep an eye out round Thanksgiving, as there are generally voucher specials on most of the sites then.

A good idea would be to use Entropay to buy from BestBuy or Walmart. If BestBuy have a special on the vouchers, then that offsets the 5% that Entropay charges for loading cash on the card and even without the special, it still works out cheaper than Wildtwig.

I usually just buy my vouchers from eBay. You just have to ask the sellers to email you the code as most of them are selling the physical cards. Bought a $50 voucher for $44 and loaded it with no hassle.

I also tried buying from E bay,but very few sellers offer worldwide shipping.Can we buy from someone who offers only us shipping?do they allow check out if you don't have us address?

buyfrompowerseller.com (also on Ebay). I think $25 x 2 (x as many times as you wish in the cart) is the best trusted deal. So far they've always delivered within an hour for me.

DO NOT USE !!!! MiTunes.TV. I have bought from them previously without any problem. This week I bought a voucher, received the code, but it is not working!! Getting no reply or feedback from them!!

UPDATE: After complaining through PayPal the problem was resolved and I got a working code - 1 digit on voucher was incorrect.

They always delivered for me, but not in real time. Always had it withing 1-2 hours max though as it's a manually run operation and not automated as with WildTwig.

They send 3 emails, only the third has the code in it.
It's sent from buyfrompowerseller.itunes@gmail.com so make sure it's not in your SPAM folder.

Subject is:
"Re: Notification of payment received"

I think it goes to your PayPal registered email account.

I've bought several times from buyfrompowerseller.com and it works great. They even contacted me on this forum once via PM and offered me a $50 voucher for $50 after I mentioned somewhere that BestBuy didn't work. I used it and have bought from them many times after that.

BFPS has been slow lately. I found myself in need of some $15 ($15 x 3 is cheapest deal right now) vouchers to get 2 of the idolm@ster games and had to email them to remind them to send the codes. Once you email them however, they respond quickly. I see their website does not update the fulfilled orders either once they email them out.
