TV series, only 1 season apparently, I think 7 episodes.
I saw the book at Exclusive books.
"Generation Kill" is a television miniseries seen on HBO and is based on Evan Wright's book about his experiences as an embedded reporter with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion during the Iraq war's first phase in 2003.
I'm a war buff, so you can see why I want this so bad ;)

Are you talking about the series or the book.
I saw some of the series and it looks really good. The book can be found at most good book shops. Didnt get it as I prefer memoirs.
Anyone read 'Border-line insanity' by Tim Ramsden. Its about a National Service man in 1985 and his experiences in the SADF. Excellent book!
Also love my war memoirs. I used to read a lot of WW II and I stuff. Moved on to Afghan and Iraq conflicts. Trying to get my hands on more of the SA Angolan conflict memoirs. CNA have a good selection

I've looked at Canal Walk, V&A Waterfront (all stores there) and no one has stock - they had, but they don't know when they are getting.
I'd like to get rips first, if I really do like it, I'll buy it, just like I did with Band of Brothers and the other war movie that name escapes me now...

I got mine from Kalahari some time back when they were still showing the series on DSTV, if you like this you should also look for "Over there" I couldnt find it in SA so bought it in London.

I want GK, but I first want to get RIPS and check it out.
