Just polling your thoughts on a consumer forum handling wider issues.... For example headings are industry sectors and sub headings are companies within each sector and threads are individual complaints and the dialogue that generates. Information section on consumer rights, how to section on how to succesfully complain and get results, a legal section on active litigation, i intend working ful time to resolve consumer issues....do you think this would fly?
Consumer issues normally take a back seat in SA as there aren't the appropriate channels as are in place in countries such as the US and UK. A consumer group which achieves what it sets out to do is much needed - south africans are screwed in many ways (and due to perhaps lack of knowledge about how to go about things, or even a bit of apathy) don't know what to do about their issue and then they leave it.
There is a consumer forum site at www.consumer-forum.co.za, dunno if youve been there yet?
