Does anyone know how to access my contacts through the desktop software that comes with the phone?

I think if you have outlook installed you can do this.

I am thinking of getting this phone. How would current users rate this phone? I currently use N95 and 6110 navigator. How does the 8900 compare to these phones. I want to upgrade my phone not downgrade and would like responses from users of the 8900.

I have one.

Its great but I think that if you don't have anyone else with a blackberry then it might not be the best option.

Things I like:
BB messages between BB users for free.
Free browsing, slow but works fine.
Push email, other phones have this but does not work as well as on the BB
Facebook integration, the best thing ever, pull details of your phone contacts from facebook, get birthdays, email adresses etc.
Good camera with flash, I have a normal camera with 3megapix and the phone takes better pics.
1gig memory card
Peformance is great, and I like the screen quality.
It has GPS navigation

Things I don't like:
Battery life is like 3 days
Aparently the rollerball does break, mine is still fine.
Not a lot of EDGE connectivity, mostly GPRS but I suppose its vodacoms fault.

Another phone to look at is the BB curve 8520.

2mp camera (no flash)
does not come with pouch
2gig memory card
Nice rubber round the edge for clumsy people
Uses a track pad instead of roller ball, its supposed to be better but to me its much the same.

If you can, go for the Bold 9700. Awesome unit!
