Hi everyone

Will the e960 gateway provide the necessary for me to hookup the following in my home simultaneously?

1. PS3- 4ghz band wireless hookup for firmware updates and game patching...
2. laptop

Thanks in advance

Most definitely, that's what I use it for all works great at once, B970 would be better if you intend gaming online though as it supports HSUPA. Coverage is another big item.

The aerial in the device is not that good, near my kitchen window though I get full 5 bars :D

Thanks for the feedback Ginzu

Where can I purchase the b970? Is it still available through any e-tailers?

I use the E960 to connect my PS3.

The B970 is +/- R3000.
The E960 is +/- R900.

Check with Huawei retailer, also vodacom and MTN sell them, you should be able to pick one up for about R2.5K

But if you not going to be gaming that much and just looking to download stuff the B960 should be fine.

Theres also a new modem out called a Huawei E5 which is more compact and has a built in battery and I think can handle 14.4 Mbps, that should be going for about R3K really nifty device.

Good luck
