My internet is down, so been using mybroadband on the iPhone while I wait for the adsl to be sorted. Is there no app that I can use to view, it's a pain in mobile safari.
I've seen some forums have apps, but are there any that would work with mybroadband or any way ti impove the experiance on the iphone?

It would be quite expensive to make one of those.
We have a mobile version, but the iPhone is excluded. We can enable it - but just want to make sure all iPhone users prefer the lightweight version...

Ever since the upgrade the site looks very odd particularly the fonts.

I concur.
Yup, think the mobile version with a link to full would be nice. Also, noticed today that even gumtree has a app, surely mybroaband can get someone to build one, they've got the infrastructure to host everything that's needed to run it. If you look at the largest sites in SA (working from Alexa here) there's gumtree at nr 7 (nr1 SA site) with a iPhone app News24 and nr 10 (2nd largest SA site) also with iPhone app; then the banks, bid or buy, IOL and then mybroadband.co.za. Doesn't this mean mybroadband is big enough to get a iphone app.

There is a forum browsing/reading app which could do for something like MyBB (I would guess). I haven't checked it out in any detail more than just seeing it existed but thought I'd mention it. Check the app called Tapatalk - there is a free Read Only version as well. Sounds like the site like MyBB may need to add something for it to work - so maybe not ideal.

So what you all are looking for is Opera for iPhone? :erm:
Safari irritates the bejeezuz out of me when I use my brother's iPhone.
App this, App that - just work darn it...

Opera? If its anything like opera mini on the blackberry I'd sooner not have it anywhere near my iphone. All my iphone safari problems for mybb started with the upgrade. With the exception of a handfull of sites it remains by far the best mobile browsing platform I've experienced.
An app would be perfect.

No the full version of Opera Mobile.
When I had my Omnia it was a real joy to use in comparison with Safari.
Never bothered with Opera Mini on my BB Bold, though the BB Browser takes some getting used to, it's still palatable for my liking.

Gonna check up on Tapatalk, anyone from mybroadband know if this will work?
Also, as far as Opera is concerned, don't think what would make much of a diff, we really need a 'mobile version' something that is simpler. The forum looks fine on mobile safari, but a mobile version or app would clean it up and make it faster to use. If tapatalk works, great, but I still vote for a iPhone app from mybroadband.

Sooo, I checked out Tapatalk, and if MYBB is a vBulletin or php BB forum the app will work with MYBB if they activate the plugin on their backend. App works for iPhone, Andoid and Nokia, so might be a nice option for MYBB. http://www.tapatalk.com/
Anyhone know if this is vBulletin or phpBB, or are we outta luck.

Cool, so where can we find a webadmin to activate the plugin, I don't mind buying the plugin, but I want it working first.

Has this idea died a silent death?
