More than 30 years ago the Black people of this country marched and protested for equal rights in South Africa... and here we are today facing similar problems... the only difference is that the roles have been reversed.
For the last 16 years there has been a rapid decline in protecting the rights of White People in South Africa. Yes, South Africa has a terrible past but with the current conditions in South Africa it is only a matter of time before history repeats itself... this time however, the roles will be reversed.
White people in South Africa over the last 16 years have become victims of direct discrimination, racism and hate speech. The ANC Government has shown that it does not care much for the white "tribe" in South Africa.
In 16 years, 3000 White farmers have been murdered, tens of thousands of white people lost their jobs or were refused a job because they were white even though they were more qualified than their black counterparts. Millions of white people have left South Africa because of the racism and discrimination shown towards them.
You find yourself living in a country where top officials in a political party call on his comrades to sing songs about killing you because you are white, to hate you because of something you weren't even part of, to rally against you and show you no respect because of the color of your skin.
The Time has arrived that white people, in South Africa, start to rise up and let their voices be heard... we have had enough of reverse discrimination, we have had enough of the death threats, we have had enough of being blamed for something that shouldn't be an excuse anymore...
It is time for white people to claim what is rightfully theirs... A country where we aren't hated for being white, a country where we can live peacefully with other races, a country where we can get a job if we are qualified, a country where we won't be threatened or killed because of the color of our skin.
It is time to stop procrastinating and hoping that someone else will do something... It is time to get up and fight for your right to be a white South African. It is time to sing our own struggle songs and show how unhappy we are with the current conditions in this country. It is time to turn the complaining and blaming and STAND UP AND MARCH! It is Time to ask for true EQUALITY!
Let us show our government that we are African, South African and White. Let us show our government that we will not stand for this pure hatred, racism and discrimination that they throw at us.
Let us march to Parliament on the 21st of March 2011(Human Rights Day) and show that we also have rights. HUMAN RIGHTS!
Let us stand united a year from now and walk for white rights and show that we are not ashamed of being white, that we are not going to tolerate the discrimination and racism anymore. Let us show that we are also South African and will be till the end of time!

The only way to get people to stand up and do something is when it's far away... Asking them to do it next week will never ever work... after all... we all know how passive White South Africans can be... hopefully our eyes will open soon.

Ja, South Africans can be notoriously whiny and complaining.. .but when it actually comes to standing up for something they suddenly fade into the mist. It will take some doing to awaken the Boer and English spirit of 110 years ago. But our very survival depends on it.

While former South African President Nelson Mandela, 85, scoffs at rumors of ill health, plans are being made by the nation's Communist Party to slaughter all whites in the country upon his death, G2B sources say.
One of the operations planned entails 70,000 armed black men "being transported to the Johannesburg city center within an hour" in taxicabs to attack whites.
The plans are variously dubbed "Operation Vula," "Night of the Long Knives," "Operation White Clean-up," "Operation Iron Eagle" and "Red October campaign."
Operation "Our Rainy Day" was to be carried out after the death of Nelson Mandela and would have entailed blacks being transported to the largest cities in taxis.
The assailants were expected to "take over" fuel points and massacre whites. The attacks would lead to a coup.
Sources say most blacks in the country are aware of the plans. When racial disputes occur, blacks often tell whites, "Wait until Mandela dies.?
"White people in South Africa can deny it to the end of the earth, but we are in real danger," one resident said. "This is no joke and any person with half a brain can see that this rumor has spiraled out of control."
Many whites are now convinced a vicious campaign of ethnic cleansing will follow Mandela's death whenever it comes. Some are making preparations for retreats.
"I have prepared myself and we have a gathering place where we can fortify for four weeks after Mandela?s death," said one white South African. "If nothing happens it will be a miracle."
The Red October campaign is allegedly a Communist plot to oust President Thabo Mbeki. Mbeki would be replaced by Cyril Ramaphosa.
"I was starting to think I was going nuts!" said another white South Africa resident. "'Operation Uhuru' or 'Operation White Clean-up' is definitely no rumor. I spoke to someone who told me that some blacks in Zimbabwe have also confirmed that this 'event' will take place. My cousin stays on a farm in Mpumalanga, not too far from Johannesburg. A black police officer in that district told his white colleague that they are going to kill us like flies, and there is nothing we can do about it. And that they also don't care if we know."
Meanwhile, Mandela, obviously aware of the growing rumors, last week assured the public he is well.
"My health is all right," he told reporters in Cape Town. "I'm doing very well. Others have gone further and said I am on the eve of going to my grave. If that day comes, I will go and knock at the door of heaven. ... They will look at the list and say: 'Your name is not here ... can you try next door?'"
Concern about Mandela's health surfaced last month when he canceled a scheduled meeting with visiting German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. The former president was at the time relaxing on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius.
Mandela joked that when his time comes, "I will look for a branch of the ANC (the ruling African National Congress) in that world (and) I'll join it."

that "knight of the long knives" rumour has been going around for the last 15 years. The reality is... why should they wait for Mandela's death? What is the significance of that? They could do it anytime they want. I don't put much stock by that rumour.

Either way, me and my friends came up with a conspiracy theory a while back. The government isn't doing anything to further public education, because it is easier to influence those who have no decent education than those who have received a decent education and can make informed choices. It is merely a conspiracy theory, though. :p

The sad fact being is that those who are sitting overseas, are the most educated and most likely candidates to run industries and take the country further, those who stay behind are either to old, don't think its worth moving over, to poor or simply not skilled enough to get a visa. Sadly the country is being baindrained and the cream is sitting elsewhere.

I can't help but take note of Mugabe's statement. I never knew he was a prophet ;).
However, why is it that you have to live life by a "eye for and eye" objective? Why must I suffer for something that happened long before I was even thought of? Why must I, as a South African citizen suffer because my skin colour is of a pinkish nature? Now, lets get things straight. Firstly, what happened in the past was an honest travesty, it's discerning that people could inflict such hatred and oppression onto other people, however all those things in the past were in actual fact out of fear and ignorance. However, have you thought that maybe there's an evolution of thought? An evolution of consciousness? Have you ever in your life thought that maybe the white are actually sorry, and that in freeing the nations "black people" and allowing the first democratic vote which involved everyone and excluded no one was a way for the "whites" to say sorry, lets please make up for what we've done. You don't seem to grasp the fact that the whites had an evolution of consciousness, in which equality, liberalism and a sense of a country wide community is what is needed. The truth of the matter, and I'm not being racist here, is that if the black people come into uprising against us, the whites of south africa will for the first time ever stand up against you. We will not take it lying down. We will fight you, defeat you.
You are oppressing the whites because you fear that this is what we will do once you push us too far. If you haven't noticed, the majority of the ANC's supporters can't think for themselves as they never had any chance at a decent education (something the ANC promised you, but didn't deliver either). We will outsmart you around every corner. We will not stand by and let you kill us for something our ancestors did. Even though songs get sung about killing us this March will not be a march where we alienate other races... it will just be to march for the rights of white people.

Despite being a minority (less that 10% of the population) whites own about 80% of the land, earn about four times more than the black majority and own more than 95% of the JSE. What are these "rights" the you will be marching for?

Someone said they were ashamed of having someone like myself as a fellow South African. You still haven't answered my question, instead you insult me. Who will listen to the complaints of the whites. HOW will it change anything?
Please explain, you think the ANC will have some epiphany and change anything. Don't make me laugh. At least come up with an effect before coming up with a cause.

I know more about South Africa than you mate... It was a major for 4 years at varsity... please stop assuming... it makes you look very weak... and please back up your statements... everything I have started here is based on cold hard facts...

And how exactly is the infringement of your (white) rights any more special than the next South African? And how should farm murders be treated any more special than the other 90% of murders in the majority populations, if you look up employment figures you will of the 20-30% official unemployment rates, whites are 2-4% of that while the other population groups make up the other 90%+ of the unemployed! Even with AA/BEE white people still own the economy, are the least unemployed & hold the cushiest jobs... imagine what the picture without AA/BEE.

Maybe if you worked harder at school, you'd get somewhere. In my matric group, we had about ten black students, all coming from harsh and poor backgrounds. Of those ten, only Bresler worked to get somewhere, and for that I have the deepest respect for him. He used the opportunity, despite his background, so that one day he might get somewhere in life. The other black students just couldn't care less. They made no effort to even try. How they made it to matric is a great mystery.
Do you still want to tell me blacks don't have equal opportunities? Because if you do, I'm going to tell you that most don't utilize what is given to them and expect to get everything handed to them on golden platters.

incase you didn't know white people only make up about 10% of the population... so those stats are well inline when compared to other races

It is because we have policies that directly discriminate against us because of the color of our skin... with your attitude I can ask why did the black peeps march in the streets in the 60's - 80's... they were discriminated against... just like white people are today... the Employment Equity Act states that discrimination is good if it is FAIR discrimination... SINCE WHEN DO YOU GET FAIR DISCRIMINATION?
So because im white I can't buy shares in Telkom, Standard Bank etc etc etc... so what now... it's fine to bitch about dom passes back in the day but it's not equally fair to complain today that I can't get a job or buy shares in those companies because im white? You are ignorant mate.
and 2 - 4% of people unemployed are white... from that please note that whites make up 12% of SA... now imagine how much that truly is.
