Aerosat was established in June 2003, starting out in the Summerstrand Village shopping center complex, in Summerstrand Port Elizabeth. Aerosat was formed to address the apparent lack of reliable, cost effective 24/7 internet connectivity in Port Elizabeth at the time, and has expanded into a company which offers a variety of internet services.
Ranging from simple home users looking for a cost effective alternative to dialup, to large corporate companies looking to save money by replacing their existing diginet lines, the Aerosat client base is quite vast. They have many customized packages to meet the needs of every individual and organisation.
Aerosat obtains their local access via Internet Solutions and SAIX and obtain their own International Access, enabling them to better the service they offer to our clients. They have a peering link with Cape Town based Uninetwork, through which they are able to obtain backup services through UUNet should Internet Solutions experience serious problems in Port Elizabeth.
Aerosat is powered by a number of individuals, all who have had extensive training and experience in their relevant fields. They have 8 employees, ranging from Call center operators to upper management.
