iphone 3Gs update to 3.1.3 = no jailbrake

ever since my update to 3.1.3 iv been unable to jailbrake the iphone ... could this be due to the fact that its been updated to 3.1.3 ??? noob question but yes i need to ask anyways.

Find someone that has a mac! Note, you'll prob only succeed with tethered jailbreak.

Don't know anything about sn0wbreeze - it does mention that you can't perform jailbreak with new boot roms - so I guess redsn0w on a mac is your best option.

You can only jailbreak 3GS 3.1.3 if you have your SHSH hashes backed up via Cydia... You'll then have to downgrade to 3.1.2 for the jailbreak... Check out the Dev-Team Blog if you haven't already... http://blog.iphone-dev.org/page/2

Ok tried it, got snowbreeze - downloaded the firmware, redid the file with snowbreeze then tried to restore wont restore on the 3Gs......

It sucks I loved my cydia
