Buddy of mine dropped his SO's iPhone  and cracked the screen. Any reputable repairers in CPT and what is this likely to cost?

What about just buying a new screen and doing a self install? I heard it aint to hard and is much cheaper.

Ok, so my buddy used these guys http://www.ifixit.co.za/ and is very happy with the repair and same day service. They charged him R1600 for the new screen and installation.

Do you need the actual LCD or just the glass digitizer?
