if telkom says that 128k upwards is broadband, how do they justify the 64k upload speed of the 192k service?

I made a similar formal complaint to ASASA a month or so ago. On researching my position (what telkom offer is not broadband and therefore should not be called broadband) I discovered that there is no conclusive definition or industry standard for what actually constitutes broadband. Further research showed that telkom cleverly do not refer to their products direclty as broadband but it is the press that refer to telkoms products as broadband. they do not advertise broadband, they advertise high speed internet connectivity. Flipping clever.
