Im curerently using the 3gb telkom adsl account.
I want to get a bigger one and I see on Hellkom that atm SAOL has the cheapest 30 gb cap.

Im just worried that I will get slower connection speeds if they have a bad pairing ratio. Just the price seems too good to be true.

So any comments on SAOL and other ISP's?

He's not asking for ISP but whants to know how SAOL's service is!

Gerund, I dont know how SAOL's service is, I am currently using webafrica's special and find it just as good. I will be getting a SAOL account for my father in a few days and will let you know how it goes if some one doesnt answer by then.

True true, Gerund... i've heard both good and bad things about SAOL, I say choose the one with the lowest price. The speeds are all exactly the same (If they're on the SAIX backbone. eg: Axxess/Imaginet/SAOL/WebAfrica etc...)

Gerund, you certainly won't experience slower connection speeds with a saol.com account - all SAIX resellers sell the same network, only difference being pricing, value added services and customer support. Also ensure the ISP you go with has been around a while and have a decent infrastructure, remember, your mail will ultimately go through your ISP and you don't want a tiny 1 Meg diginet serving ALL the adsl users for the respective ISP.

If you would like to test an account from us, PM me and I'll set one up for you.

Desertsnowman hit the nail right on the head :P

Thanks for all the help guys.
30 gig cap here I come!

Desertsnowman please do give me feedback on your dad's SAOL account 'cause it may take me a while to get my SAOL account set up and if you have any problems you may be in time to save me.

Their Accounts Are some of the best Priced ADSL accounts out there.
If you want sum one that really Cares about their Users .. Then Give Navi-9 a try.

I have a axxess and a saol 30Gb account, and i t doesnt matter with who I'm connected (axxess curently saol is on 30.7gb:( ) its the same. Wehn I lick the screen its the same as before and the network cables feel just as cold too. :P

Long story short, both offer a quick and easy setup and the line speeds are as good as telkom allows them to be. http=55kb/s; p2p=5kbs daytimes and 15-20kb/s @ night.
