Cost to upgrade from 16k to 32k sim??

I am intertested in trying the new MTN mobile banking, but I am on Pay as You go and still have a 16K sim.

What is the cost to upgrade, while keeping my same number?

Hi Thelma, I think the cost to upgarde your sim is around R136, quite expensive compared to VC.

That is quite expensive... on the banking site it says there MAY be a charge, so i thought maybe they were doing some free??!!

Thelma, I'll have to get the price for you on Monday morning.

I think the reason why there MAY be a charge is because it depends on the person's SIM card - some people have compatible cards already whereas other people don't.
