Can somebody please help me!!!! I am desperately looking for a 512MB MMC card for my phone. I bought one and the phone picks it up. But the moment I copy something to it, or take a picture, the phone cannot read the file - Unknown Format error. I tried formatting the card from the phone, and get Card corrupted 4 out of 5 times before working. But still cannot read data off the card.
Help PLEASE!!!

You probably using a single voltage card. u need a dual voltage card for nokia 6680. However if it is check with manufacturer could be faulty.
512mb dual voltage mmc is R499, let me know, will let you know where to get it, very scarce
Would also like to know, as the local shops are clueless and persist in trying to sell me a yeah-this-is-what you-want-coz-its-all-we know-of higher voltage card.

...so I'm about to buy a Tatu 512mb MMC-Mobile ( Dual-Voltage RS-MMC ) from perkal.co.za for 792 Rond. Which appears to come with a "lifetime warrenty".
Anybody buy this product (or similar) allready? I would really appreciate any advice...
Try this site: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/MMC-Mobile
They do ship to SA - takes a week or 3. I purchased mine from them and the service was excellent.
(R792 just seems a tad expensive btw...)

I bought the RS-MMC card from Digital planet, but it does not fit into my phone as it is. Have anyone bought this product and managed to fit it to the phone? How?

I just bought a 1GB from Kodak in Canal Walk for R450. Cellucity was advertising 1GB for R375 but their stock never materialised so I got from Kodak. The make I got is San-Disk.

One strange thing I've noticed is that writing to a 1GB card is slower than writing to a 512MB card.
Try copying say 200M of data to it using a memory card reader. The 1GB card is considerably slower than the 512MB card.
One irratation caused by this is when you record a video to the memory card. The video recorded on a 1GB card has pauses at regular intervals while the 256MB or 512MB card doesn't do this.
Your mileage may vary.
