I've learnt (bitterly) that PS2 from the US doesn't play here. I bought one for my son and didn't buy games from there so now I'm stuck and the little man is annoyed. Any help, where can I get a good game for a 9 year old that plays on a US console.
Please help.

Hi, if you are in the Pretoria region consider visiting Defcon 5 (www.defcon5.co.za). They will be able to chip your console so it will play local games as well. Or if you are in JoBurg, try the Boksburg flea market. Know it works for a fact.

Check these guys http://www.2ndhandwarehouse.com/-Playstation_2/p176776_335088.aspx?gclid=CM3Hg_TStqUCFc0_4wodMllR ag they should be able to help. It seems they charge R499, but guarantee their work.

Check out cybermedia.co.za, they did mine a few years back. You can by US games from them aswell. Your son will be over the moon
