What are the risks involved? Say the seller defaults on payment of contract. Can the phone be blocked and you're stuck with a dud? Also what bout the guarantee?

I know that in some cases the phone will be blacklisted yes as it remains the property of the SP untill such time that the contract has run its course.

Sounds a bit dodgy, but I'm guessing that you can get a SGS at a very good price?

Yeah rob, found one R3899, still sealed. But going to pass on it. Rather spending more and buying from a forum member here.
