I need to get information from a website page that I browsed. However the page does not exist on the web anymore.

OK, so I know with IE you can browse you temporary internet files in the user profile\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder but how does it work with Firefox?

I have checked the user profile\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.usi\Cache directory by searching through the folder with all its funny file names and couldn't find the reference I was looking for. The folder's size does correspond with Firefox's max folder cache size.

Anyone got any ideas?

In the address bar type - about:cache that will tell you where the cache is...

Sould be in here
C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{something}.default\ Cache

I went to about:cache?device=disk
However the file I was looking for wasn't in the list, so that probably means tough luck for me.

Take a look here: http://www.archive.org/ and take a look at the "waybackmachine"...

Thanks to Deckert for a reminder of that URL!
