I've been very happy with my old Sennheiser HD 433 headphone set, but after many years its black foam pads have now disintegrated. Apparently the HD433, EH1430, HD442II, old HD435-model, HD435 Manhattan/Vegas and HD60 all use the same type of foam pad.
Does anyone know if there's a place in CT (preferably Northern Suburbs) that may have some replacements? Alternatively, would it be a good idea to buy a thin (about 2mm thick I think) soft black foam sheet, assuming one can find such a thing, and cut replacements from that?
I've seen them on eBay for about R105 including shipping, which is almost half of what I paid for the set, way back when. I'd prefer not to have to go that route, if possible.
