The ANC on Thursday called for the media to stop speculating about former president Nelson Mandela's health and allow the family privacy.

"We appeal, particularly to the media fraternity to refrain from making unfounded and unwarranted speculation in relation to Madiba's health," spokesman Jackson Mthembu said.

I agree. Just wait and see what happens... you can't make it happen any faster.
Give the family and friends some rest. This is not a circus or freak show.

Mandela is a world icon and the press all want to be in on anything that has anything to do with Mr Mandela.
In essence he is news worthy and sells newspapers.
Trust all is ok and he returns home fit and healthy.

Do the ANC own Mandela? Are they his family?

FO ANC...you've done nothing to earn the right to ask for anything - let alone demand it.

The guy's 92, and hospital admission is expected to be gobbled up as "routine"? Hahaha. What a laugh.

I should take another trip out into the 'ANC areas'...I'd like to find out if their supporters are as stupid as the ANC make them out to be.

Do the ANC own Mandela?

Well, if you asked him, he might says yes, since he devoted most of his life to serving them.

Are they his family?

Many of them are, yes.

FO ANC...you've done nothing to earn the right to ask for anything - let alone demand it.

For you maybe, but why don't you ask their supporters?

Yes, 92 years olds do sometimes go for check-ups. But even if this is not routine, how else do you expect them to appeal for privacy?

Why don't you do that? ;)
