Has anybody else lost all their DSTV channels in the last 5 minutes? The EPG still works but every channel is a plain black screen.

Thanks all, fixed now.

Seems it needed a hard boot (in the nuts) and it's working again. First time that's happened in 6 years. I wonder if The Man is trying to encourage me to by that new decoder.

S'funny, but every DStv decoder I've had (4 at last count - now on Dual View) needs a hard reboot at least once a fortnight. Sometimes I wonder if they use similar source code to Windoze...

I think they are both made by monkeys

the monkeys seem to make many cable boxes then...mine here in uk regularly needs a reboot to clear a problem where some channels will just have a black screen, and other channels work fine, I am not alone in this here, it is a common problem.

The more electronics we stuff into everyday items, the more grief we end up having:-) Pretty soon you will run around the whole day just rebooting "common" household appliances, heh heh...sure, stick some code in the toaster on a pic, why not...get ambient and then work out the optimum browning temperature...hehe hehe, daddy, pls reboot the toaster...heh heh..
