Sync iPhone 3G with 2011 MBP i7

I normally use a BB Torch. Used Missing Sync for BB to sync at least the contacts. But this is not working anymore.

Got hold of an old(ish) iPhone 3G. Tried to get the phone and MBP synced using iSync. Not working.

Any assistance? How can I sort this problem out?

iPhone syncs with iTunes, not iSync.
