I have used Easypay for many years to pay municipal and Telkom accounts.

This month they introduced a new site.

Today I tried to pay accounts with my FNB Visa Cardand was informed that "3D Authentication has failed, please check with your Bank. (95)"

My credit card is authenticated for 3D and was used for a 3D payment on Friday.

So I tried with a payment under the R2000 3D limit. Same message.

So I tried with a payment of R400. Same message.

So I tried logging in on Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. Same result.

So I tried with my ABSA Mastercard (3D registered). Same result.

So I tried to complain on their "Contact Us" Not working try later.

So I phoned their Helpline, to be told that I was the only person having a problem, and they would look at it on Monday. (By which time I will have paid the accounts at the Municipality and they will have lost out.)

My question is, am I? Has anyone else had problems with this new site?

Question answered. FNB Visa have had "lots" of people phoning regarding Easypay payments.

Why can't people be honest? "I am sorry sir , we are having a few teething problems . Please try again later."

instead of "You are the only person who has complained."

The site was sort of working as of 06h30 this morning.

Another month, another problem.

Sorry, the same problem as last month. Once again I am the only person having a problem.

Am I?

Same here. Also tried multiple cards in different browsers. I'm rather going to do transfers than getting on the phone and battle with the support peeps.

we've had issues with the site as well. Some problems there methinks.

The site was working again 2 days later. The helpdesk at least follows up. I was told that the problem was with the banks server. I very much doubt that the problem is with the banks, as there dosn't seem to be a problem with other sites.

Why do Companys launch sites without fully checking that they work? Especially when their income depends on it.

It is possible for the banks to have issues. Being in the 'remote sales' retail industry, we see it often that certain banks have issues with their systems/servers, and if it is not the banks themselves, it might be the switching provider
