Hi guys

So one of the rooms in my apartment has a nasty draft, its freezing cold in it! I am trying to trace the source of the draft, but no luck.

Have tried a lit candle, but its not helping, or I'm not doing it right.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Lock the door, open 5 gas bottles all at once - the crack you find your lips over sucking for air to survive - is the source (disclaimer: don't really try this, it's not advice or recommended :)

Well deal with the most obvious ones first, seal the door edges and lay a towel down at the bottom crack of the door.
Then seal the window with masking tape.
Also check that there is no air vent above the windows. if so then seal that as well with a piece of paper and masking tape.

Smoke is normally a very good way to track air flows. Maybe try an incense stick.

Lol at gas, things are not that bad, yet. Perhaps I could get try that out with JM as a test subject hehe

Have sealed off the obvious candidates, forgot about under the door though, will try that, thank you.

Incense is a good idea, will try that.

Thank you all for your tips

If all else fails, mosquito repelling smoke coils give of a moer of a lot of smoke and doesn't have a flame that can be affected by the draught.

Voicy, I didn't know that. And it will kill any buggers hiding away!
