Heard there were issues a few weeks ago as well, guess its not sorted than. Is Uniforum run by the ANC perhaps?

Maybe a stupid question, but is the correct email address listed when you do a whois?

I have done updates in the last month of about 350 domains so I guess I know what i am doing. 12 hours later and still no tickets and no reply from the support@co.za either I guess they only operate between 8 to 5

Doing a whois on a domain... Nice :(

You can use their alternative URL..

http://www.coza.net.za/whois.shtml

This one seems to be more reliable and works when www.co.za is down.

Uniforum is run by a bunch of idiots who don't actually care about their clients so don't expect any miracles from them.

I've also seen this happen many times in the past 15+years, sometimes any and all emails from them just stop working for no reason. The support staff don't know jack***** on what todo and then suddenly one day you get a crapload of emails again. And then you also need to deal with clients who's domains got suspended cause you didn't get the invoices or reminders to pay them on time.

I really really wish someone could actually do something about this. Why, exactly, should we (South Africa) put-up with only 1 domain registrar?

I feel your pain, it is limiting and there is no good reason that I can think of.. even if Uniforum made a more robust system with domain management it would be MUCH better!

All I can say is you get used to it :( The best you can do is try on another day because contacting their technical support regarding their website being down, etc is mostly a waste of time.

Has anyone else gotten any replies from UniForum?
I've been mailing them for the past 3 days and no one replies (big surprise).
