Hello Dudes,

I am considering getting this 2.1 channel speaker system only because it has wireless remote.

Aren't there any decent 2.1 speaker systems which also has a wireless remote that I can look into getting?
I have a quote on these speakers for R950

Cheers

What are you going to use it for and why is a remote so important?

I have these speakers for my dstv and they are mind blowing in my opinion. Very impressive. I never use the remote though.

The sub is ridiculously good:D. OMG it is amazing.

Rather get a 5.1 sound system for R700 than just a 2.1 for R900, buying it just for a remote is a poor reason imo.

They look mighty expensive though, what was the special? I see some UK company has them 300 pounds

Yup i paid that as well. Very good pricing, the sub is like a desktop computer in size :D.

Nom nom has a good idea i bought logitech x 530 for 700, must still hook it up today and i can tell you how the sound is compared to the 2.1. The cables for speakers are not very long sadly :(. I would have thought 15m-20m cables would been the best option not 3m.

Can't recall - can't find the email - the link I got from just going to the creative site.

I'd rather have a quality 2.1 system than a ****ty 5.1 system.

Not sure i agree, for the same money you can get the logitech x 530 and i just hooked it up. Insane stuff. Much better than the divoom 2.1.

Divoom has much better base though but wow these 530's are awesome.

But Logitech generally don't make ****ty systems?

Nope but it's still a cheap 5.1 system. If you are going to drop 700-900 on the divoom 2.1 you may as well go for the 530 5.1.

If divoom made that 2.1 and a 5.1 with the same sub woofer and same speakers it would be the most epic product ever made on the cheap anyhow.

Yeah agreed, loving my x530 if it ever fails I'll get another one in a heart beat.

Yea although i think i am going to save for a z5500 or something really high end :D. If this 700 rand system can perform so well i can only imagine what a 3-4k system would do.
