Why do they always do that with the 'special' versions of products which are great and stay on overseas but we only get it for like a few months? I smaaked Vannilla Coke big time :(

I don't know, I always use to love having a Vanilla Coke, I remember as a young lad how I use to have a lovely sip of Vanilla Coke before I took the long road to Cape Town....:love:

I can't believe how it could be sales, the places that stocked them were sold out so quickly it was scary. Vanilla Coke was delicious I'd take it over any other drink any time, including Cherry Coke or Dr Pepper.
I have heard rumours they are going to bring it back though.

Maybe cuz it was disgusting, although I will admit it did taste better not coming from mcdonalds, but still wouldn't drink it even if u paid me.

Dude cherry coke and dr pepper available from some spares through uk emporium.
Luckily uk emporium is right near my work :D

I saw it at this new pizza place in randburg, 18 bucks though :eek:. I enjoy certain things but i would rather not have them if it's a ridiculous price. I can get a coke and pizza for 24, even if it's imported it seems high.

Straight from the shop a single can is something like R9 or so if I recall, can check Monday

Ok some googling has revealed they do still make vanilla coke, just not for SA, apparently it is available in Botswana :p
However there is mention of it being available at some super spars. Two named was one in midrand and one in Zambezi

like any market there has to be a critical mass of sales to make it viable to produce a product in that market. Vanilla Coke did not obtain critical mass to make it viable so it was pulled

Jeez! Are those cans pre-mixed with Johnnie Walker Blue Label or something?! Wantitall has little to no sense of the value of stuff on their website. I am ashamed to admit that I used them once. Not for two six-packs of cooldrinks, though...

That or it costs them nothing, i have already emailed them to question their prices, think it was about a wacom tablet, they were 3X wacoms actual RRP, fin all well and good maybe being a bit higher than RRP but 3X is just insane, they are a disgusting store to say the least.

Ummm don't drink soft drinks much but with vanilla coke the flavour only lasted after a couple sips.

As for vanilla coke, they still sell it here in New Zealand. Usually only in 600ml bottles and only some stores. When I saw it, it brought back memories. So I bought some, and it wasn't that great. It's ok but I wouldn't miss as long as regular coke was around.
I actually found coke in general doesn't taste very good now that I stopped drinking it all the time. It's like there was some kind of addiction and I lost it by not drinking it for weeks.
