I am complaining about "Person" aka brian's posts, they all have products and price's in them, is this not against forum policy???
If he has some deal with MyAdsl then, cool i dont mind but if he does not i think something should be done about it

Well he is not opening threads with prices, so thats ok, he is also offering to people who ask or who are interested in computer bits... So take a chill pill and ignore it if u are so inclined. Is it really worth gettin upset about it... And don't u think the moderators would have done something by now if they thought it was bad or against forum policy?

he is advertising on the forum and thus has a little bit of leeway afaik. :)
If you concider his posts to be spamming i.e not invited by forumites, report it to a mod.
If however Person is responding to legitimate queries on the forum from forumites, then he is not doing anything wrong. Anybody supporting the forum through advertising needs a lot of respect IMO. Big up to all our advertisers, YOU ALL ROCK!!!

I have never (ok once but it got deleted) started a post with my prices. Only if someone has asked for a price have a given it to them. I feel I'll rather post the price than see someone get ripped off else where. I take your post for e.g
I offer you the same pc for R700 and you start the flame war. Come on man, really. Who in their right mind would pay R700 more for the same thing?

I have to say I rather enjoy our resident smous. He doesn't spam, responds only to requests, and it is interesting to see prices on things. Now he is also running a banner ad ( ugly tho it may be! ) and supporting the site. So lets leave him be.
