Anyway. I really want an app to control my Denon hi-fi. There's an official iOS app and what looks like a homebrew Android one.

It does support DLNA. I don;t actually have a WP7 yet :erm: I really want one, but the new Android / Samsung Galaxy Nexus is looking good considering I can use the app for my hi-fi....

edit: I'm waiting for Nokia's phones and then I'll decide.

Presumably that uses those messages in the background anyway, so it still won't be possible.

How about an app that lets you browse shared folders on a windows network? The current apps are very poor quality.

But what would you do with that?
Would you want to be able to run media files from it?

Also be able to get documents from a networked machine.
