Sms alert service for Gautrain

To activate the service requires one sms with the word ‘alert’ to 32693.

The sms costs R1 but the service is free after that.

I subscribed earlier this afternoon, now to see if it really works at 05:55 in the morning when I normally leave home to drive to Sandton station.
