How to report people who are dumping?

Sorry but this pissed me off big time...

Yesterday I was down at the river catching a couple of frog tadpoles for my pond(My sisters deceased cat finished them all off) because I miss them croaking at night. :p

I noticed someone had recently dumped not only building refuge but also a ####ing smashed glass door :mad:. I got a suspect(99% sure it was him) who did this. :mad:

Where do I go to report these bastards? I wouldn't mind making them go in bare foot and picking up all the glass and refuge bare handed :mad:

What area? In the Sandton Chronicle (community newspaper) for the last few weeks there've been ongoing reports of local illegal dumping, with pics of perps/vehicles included. Doesn't seem like the authorities have much interest in ending it.

I have a similar problem. There is this guy who drives 2 km to my part of town to dump his black garbage bags in an open field across from my house. By the time I usually get there the bags have been torned open and contents strewn across the field. I put on my gloves and pick up his **** (beer bottels, used condoms (!), KFC box, mielie pap, etc). After the second time I struck gold and found his address on a bill amongst the trash. Loaded everything into new bags, on my bakkie, drove to his house and just blindly threw the bags back into his driveway and his trees...bottles breaking and trash all over his lawn. It was awesome! It became like a game, he would dump his trash at night, I would pick it up and dump it all over his lawn.

He doesn't do it anymore.

If it is in Joburg, you just take a picture of the offenders (if you can) and send it to Pikitup...

The JMPD will be issuing fines to litter bugs and illegal dumpers! Help us by reporting illegal dumping to info@pikitup.co.za.

Quite a couple of good ideas... I especially like Goobies "returning the favour" post :D Would love to toss a bucket of broken glass into their lawn, driveway and swimming pool :D See how they like it when it hits them closer to home :)
