Placing Calls:

Press the offhook button on the Northwestern Bell 36297 cordless phone handset and you will hear dialtone.
To place a call to another Skype user just dial a 1-2 digit speed dial number you have associated with that Skype user's name and stored in the VTA1000's phone book OR simply look up the person's name using the cordless handset's built in phone directory and press the send key.

To place a "Skypeout" call to a user with a regular phone simply dial the telephone number you wish to call including the country code.

To place a SIP call, dial #0 followed by the number you wish to call. You may also further select placing your calls over up to 10 different SIP networks by additionally dialing #0 to #9 before the number.

To place an IAX2 call, dial #1 followed by the number you wish to call. You may also further select placing your calls over up to 10 different IAX2 networks by additionally dialing #0 to #9 before the number.

When you are finished hang up.

When incoming Skype, SIP or IAX2 calls arrive you will hear ringing. Go offhook to answer the call.

To redial the last number just go offhook and dial ##.

But this one still USB interfaced and need host PC, isn't it?
i'm looking for Skype/SIP/IAX network attached phone.

ADD:
after google it, actually it's just a normal DECT phone. it's the ATA gateway does the job.

Yep a network ATA device will be great
with no USB link only an ethernet port.
Let me know if you find one, I will order the above one
in 2 weeks time and evaluate it anyway.

Uniden base station with ethernet port. According to manual supports SIP
