Went into Look and Listen today to try to find an album I've been looking for for a while now. Looked at all their "alternative" stuff but still coudn't get it. Then I saw a system search PC. Typed in Album name, Artist name etc. It's like they never even heard of it. Didn't bother asking for help... the assistants there seemed far too puzzled by this "alphabetical order" thing.
The album I was searching for was AwolNation - Megalithic Symphony. Mainly for this single and the fact that they received raving reviews.

Perhaps import via TakeAlot?

The answer to your question is NO.
They cannot afford to keep too much slow-moving stock on their shelves - Business 101.
They have to pay hefty rental for space in popular shopping malls, hence they will stock the more "popular" items. I know that some stores are allowed to deviate slightly and stock "other" items. You'll find these are mostly imported items and much more expensive.
Your best bet is to either order online or find a "niche" music store somewhere nearby - more than likely an independent non-franchise store.

TPB can help you with that.

I see that specific album is listed as "to be confirmed" on Look & Listen's online store. Perhaps you could request it and hear what they say.

I suggest you grooveshark the rest of the album before you decide to buy it. The rest of the album is nothing like that song. I still like it and think it's pretty good, but the other half doesn't think so and only likes the one song.
And to answer your Q: No, they can't and don't stock everything. If it's not mainstream, you're more likely to get it from a less mainstream store than Musica/Look&Listen, or online, or purchase for download.
