Pardon for the noobish question, I just got a WP7 phone, loving it. Now I wanna buy some apps. Is there a way to do it without a credit card? Do I buy XBox Live points? I notice all prices in the Marketplace are still in GBP despite setting my location to South Africa in settings.

Your Live account needs to be a south african account too. And the only way is to use a credit card at present.
In other countries you can use your airtime to buy apps, but our SP's suck.
