Pakistan on a roll since they trashed SL. They doing pretty well against England at the moment.
India struggling with Politics in the team, young vs old, showing in their performance.

For India its always been that they have been super strong in the sub continent but poor elsewhere. I honestly think they are no.1 on the sub continent in the world but 5th or 6th elsewhere.
Pakistan bowling beautifully, great to see England in trouble.

Most teams prefer their pitches at home, same with our Proteas.
Last time Pakistan played England it opened our eyes to the world of spot betting, wonder if there will be any dramas this time around.
Ajmal on fire, 3 for 4 runs!

Why is it whenever a spinner plays well against England and Australia, his action is being questioned? When playing against other nations he is a fantastic bowler.

According to the ICC test rankings predictor, Pakistan would have to beat England 3-0 for us to become sole no.1, else if they win 2-0 and we win 3-0 then we tie with England for the number 1 spot.

Indians have been well below par against the Poms and now against the Aussies.
Heads need to roll, as most of the senior players are playing on reputation and are just not performing.
The Aussie team is relatively inexperienced in comparison to the Indians and to be rolled over so easily everytime is rather shocking and quite frankly pathetic.
SA V Aus will again decide the top team in world cricket. The Pakis are giving the Poms a rude awakening, and English are living in dreamland if they still consider themselves the best.

Their new coaching team and captain has played a huge role in the teams character and game play.
They attacked from the first ball! Maiden after maiden, these poms are not the usual poms, their recent records and scores are world class but they still failed. They have the highest batting partnerships for 2011/2012 than any other team.
they scored 327 in their first innings and as with 90% of test pitches it favours the spin bowlers on day 4 and 5. It wasnt a pre prepped pitch befitting the Pakistanis.

so youre saying India should be chasing a higher total?
Batting first Aus should have upped their rate knowing that there might be rain.
If it rains again India will have to score a lot more in fewer overs so they are more at risk.
I think it rained before a certain amount of overs where the final total is what the opposing team needs to score.

You can't expect a team to bat more aggressively cos there might be rain, you can't pace an innings not knowing if you're gonna be batting 20 or 50
The only reason I can think of for the score to have not changed is to do with the power plays, Aus I assumed had 11 overs of power play up front while India only had 7

Suprisingly Monty has outbowled Swann.
The Poms need to go back to school regarding playing spin. Its rather embarassing the way they keep playing back and getting out LBW .

I think that the change in captaincy has a bit to do with recent successes. Mahela has been quite inspirational opening the batting, bowling changes and augurs well for their future.
