In terms of the disciplinary procedures invoked following their illegal work stoppage on the 1st February, Gautrain bus drivers were given until 11h00 on Friday 3rd February to make representation as to why they should not be dismissed. Again, in the interests of maximum fairness, Mega Express agreed to extend the deadline to 16h00. A submission from the drivers was subsequently received.

I don't use the train so this doesn't affect me, but how about some maximum fairness to your paying customers who has to make alternative arrangements everytime things doesn't run as advertised?

This has been dragging on for a while now. Hope they sort it out once and for all now.

So the train itself is still operating as usual and only the bus service is affected ??

Train is working PERFECTLY fine with no problems ,it's only the Bus service.
Busses around Sandton, and Rosebank are working, but people going to midrand and pretoria that need the bus will still have no way to get away from the station.
