This is really bad. I have spoken to people from all over the world, and they dont get what im talking about. They hear on the news about crime in South Africa, but the news make it sound like the typical crime here is car theft and house break-ins. They dont believe me when i tell them stories about babies being raped, old people being beaten to death, farm murders, hijackings.
Its not right, and who will sort all this crap out?
The worst for me was when a guy that works for me heard that a couple of guys stormed into his neighbours house with guns. They took all the jewelry and expensive stuff. Plus they took the old people's car. Thats not the worse part... They wanted the old lady's wedding ring, but it was stuck on her finger. One of the bastads bit her finger off to get the ring. This makes me feel ill. How can you bite another person's finger off? How can you rape a month old baby? How can you skin someones feet?
I dont fall for all this crap about being hungry makes you do crazy things. I mean, if your hungry...steal food if you have to. I can understand that. Hell, i would most likely steal food if i really couldnt afford to buy any. But kill someone so i can eat? I doubt ill ever be able to do that.
Having no rights as law abiding citizens, we are lost. We cant do anything without the help of the government. And that scares me. They are too obsessed about filling their own pockets.
I hope South Africans will one day be able to put all this crap behind us and work on the future of this country.
