Are they targeting residential use again?

The blackouts were much worse on the 5 workings days of the weeks earlier this year, guess what that means?

Thats it's offices and factories and other indurstries that uses the most power. All those computers, furnaces, ovens, office lighting, copier machines and whatnot. Why dont they try targetting those with energy conciousness a bit?

Cut back on electricity useage? U kid me? Surely this applies to Natal as well as Capetown? In fact to the whole country?
and yet..... the five or six streetlights from our property up the road come back on shortly after the early morning rush hour traffic and remain on all day. A small thing perhaps and despite repeated enquiries it doesnt change... but why should residents bother when a clear message is being sent by the Municipality itself to be wasteful?
