i find the sigs and even the use of smilies very interesting and amusing. Would it not be possible to add to the smiley options ? Theres no sad face cept for the frown which doesnt mean the same thing at all.... a face with a zip for a mouth = schtum? scuse spellin.... :D

bandwidth hasnt been an issue for us skuzzy .. ive no doubt we will find out soon enough though as we sposed to get iBurst this week :(

im not talking about the end user of the forums, im talking about RPM and Hetzner (the ppl who pay for out 109GB's worth of chat)

im sure that enabling a few more smilies...will increas the bandwidth by a good few GB's.
Wrong, your browser only downloads the image if it's not in its cache or if its last modified date has changed. Besides, with the new bandwidth saving measures I proposed it CAN be implemented.

We will look into the smilie situation. Perhaps get a few more on. I agree we can do with more, but the mods will have to weigh the pros and cons. Watch this space.

LOL. No, but nothing is ever as easy as it seems. There is the small matter of which smileys to source. Do they cost money and will people like them. Is it worth the effort etc. Will this affect the ease of use of the forum. In this case I doubt it will be major, but one mod cannot promise anything. I can only promise it will be looked into. :D ASAP. Is that okay?
