Just registered with them, but my account will only be activated in 2 woking days. I'd like to take a look at their prices to see if I should wait before I buy some stuff.

So I'd really appreciate it if someone could mail one to me...

email: mckayp 'at' gmail.com

thanks

Rectron is too expensive these days, just look at the socket 939 3200+, at least R150 (thats 16%) more expensive than other suppliers.

Realised that aswell, what other suppliers would you recommend?

Frontosa (http://www.frontosa.co.za/) near Kyalami Race Track entrance, just the robot futher uphill. Its run by two Chinese or Tiawanese guys, very helpful and customer orientated, they have all the cool stuff like Antec cases and the like and good prices.

Sahara (http://www.sahara.co.za/) also has a few select items at good prices and get my cheopo RAM from them.

Is anyone able to help me on who the suppliers of Legend stuff are?

well Frontosa doesnt have a PE branch and from CT or JHB overnight nextday shipping is kinda expensive, but I am registered with Sahara, in general, i dont like them, the only thing i buy from them is AMD CPU's cos they're much cheaper than Rectron.

Bout the Legend stuff, maybe you should try contacting Legend's SA offices?

I have used pcmall and Rectron and I find some things are more expensive from one than the other (both ways). Just check the pricelists and compare.

lol i use rectron , lightedge, esquire, sahara and pinnacle sometimes u still find what u looking for cheaper at a retailer sometimes. I dnt really supply components only full machines so for me its easy mail all of them and whoever comes back with the lowest cost per "box" gets the order. Rectron hardly ever get orders anymore.

My advice as said so often by others is shop around and dnt forget to ask for discounts

Only problem for me is that you need to buy goods worth R15k/month to keep the dealership open with Rectron - most (like Axiz/Prototech/FrontOSA) don't have a limit: you must just buy every 1 month or so, no matter what the good is.

do not buy from sahara!!!! i warn you that if something goes wrong expect them to make you think you broke it

rectron may be a little more exspensive but their after sale service is just amazing

rather pay more and be sure they not gonna give you crap if something goes wrong

dominic your very wrong there
ive been with them for 3 years and i can go for 3 months without buying and they still sell to me so thats not true at all

That's interesting - I phoned the lady at the CT branch and she said you have to buy R15k/month (which I thought was a bit high). Better phone the number again then..

Rooney, its R15k per month if you want a CREDIT account.

They do put your normal account into "hibernation" if you dont over for more than 3 months tho...or atleast thats what they say.

I buy 99% of my stuff (company) at Light Edge. Yes, they are more expensive than Rectron and Sahara, but they understand one simple concept that both other companies have failed to grasp. Customer Service. I only use Rectron in the most extreme emergencies.

Rectron : dont buy from them for 3 months you need to re-submit your dealer app to open your account again.
: 30K pm if you want a Credit account
: 100K pm if you want a VAR account
: 700K pm if you want a MVR account

If you want a standard account, you might as well go somewhere else.

Sorry cant give out Pricelist, as it's against Dealer Law's. I take it you did not read all those terms, when you signed the dealer app.

Well i'v gone for more than 3 months without buying anything from them a few times already, and never had to do anything like that, although they do start phoning you trying to sell you stuff
