Well this seems to be one of those experimental or eclectic albums that artists bring out to define or even refine their individual style.

The album art says it all to be honest.
Retro sounds with lots of reverb and sultry echoes.
She can definitely sing with a mellow style that is all her own.
The only problem is that the album comes across as too experimental and loses cohesion through its eclectic process.

It's not a bad album, individual tracks being strong enough to make the album good.

6/10

Just listened to a few tracks on youtube and I like it. Beats most of the crap on the charts.

I like it. Her last album was decent too. Whether its experimentation or moving in a new direction: personally I think its refreshing seeing an artist with success shaking it up a bit.

I must confess to find this album a vast improvement to the monotone of her last album.
