Thanks for posting. Some really interesting things I didn't know.

I was a crazy cricket fan but since the King commission I have never watched a cricket match again. Can't ever get back into the game.

Lots of things never came out .. but, they are probably best left, that way.

I was stunned by the initial disclosures .. as he had always played with such intensity.

I recall the day, he threw a stump threw the Aus changing room, after Waugh was controversially allowed 'not-out',
after the stumps were broken, with his bat, after the shot had been played.

I could never reconcile, how someone on the field, who glared at players with such fervor, was .. untruthful.

It was prob all an act .. still, v sad.

Seriously

Why is news about this now popping up again?

No end to the drama! What is the real truth. Please let this rest now for a great man was treated unjustly it seems.

Treated unjustly? WTF? He got off easy for his betrayal. But the other SA players and the Aussie, English, Indians West Indian and Pakistani players should also have paid heavily.

I was a huge cricket fan but haven't watched since then. What's the point? The sport is rotten ... still

In Hansie's era the excitement level and 'close matches', (even if they were rigged) was good entertainment. Cricket was fun stuff to watch and I'd get up early for those India / Pakistan matches.

Post Hansie it turned into landslide matches where the atmosphere just isn't the same... The Cricket spirit was buried with Hansie for me :(
