Warning to anyobody that is thinking of going to Maverick : Dont
There is absolutly no vibe to the place
The girls sit around smoking and drinking and are totally disinterested
For table dances, etc they just go through the motions
Although there are one or two good looking ones, they are few and far between
The drink prices are insane : R32 for a dbl brandy and coke
R18 for a Springbok (It wasn't actually a springbok, but it will cause less remarks if I say it was)
The drinks are unfairly priced (R18 a shot of Vodka, R28 for a double. They dont bother telling people that they are penalizing people who drink singles)
Have I mentioned the junk vibe. Nobody wants to watch strippers stripping to James Blunt. And the music is very soft
Management is a disaster. I pretty much blame all the issues on their management. If they had somebody like Annie from Teazers, all their problems would be fixed
So, in summary, rather go to Teazers

neio : It is basically a VIP area that you pay a couple hundred bucks to get into. Then lap dances cost another couple of hundred (R500 iirc) and you get perks during them

I much prefer Teazers to Mavericks on all the points mentioned.

Me Ukranian friend wants to go work there instead of at teazers.
Is it really dull and the customerz are unhappy - cos that means she's not going to be able to earn bucks easily - unhappy customers do not pay.
