VoipBuster Landline Rates to SA tripled !!!!

I have noticed that the VoipBuster rates to South Africa has tripled from 1 euro cent to 3 euro cents per minute !!!

The same apply to the other Betamax GmbH sites:

- www.internetcalls.com
- www.voipcheap.com
- www.voipdiscount.com
- www.poivy.com

This is applicable to me because I use web-based callback. In that case you also pay for both links, i.e your landline link and your destination.

I think they realised that they can triple their rates and still be cheaper than Telkom, even for RSA long distance calls !!!

I saw this - it was 1c, then last weekend it was suddenly 2c, and Tuesday I showed someone at work - 3c...

However, I've also heard that the UK's recently upped their rates to SA from 1p to 3p per minute on average. Might be related?
