I've used Nokia Cellphones for GPRS/3g, and also my buddy's have Nokia's etc..

But the best results / pings i've seen were on MOtorola Cellphones (v600,V3x,E398) via Data-cable.

With nokia's it stays connected for 3-5hours.. then the data stops sending/recieving.. It shows its connected still. But it stalls.

Motorola phones. Were still connected for 8-10hours later..

Dunno.. Maybe i was just lucky with that testing day??

Anyone else want to confirm / give a input ?

I have had the same thing. Motorolas just connect - very simple - standard mini USB cable, etc or bluetooth. Never had problems... I have always had problems with Nokias. Even the cheapy Motorola V360 Edge unit works well.

I have to agree.....

Another good thing is that Moto phones charge via the USB the nokia i've used you have to have the charger plugged as well.....

I used to have a Motorola V220, and now I have a V360. Both of these phones give me excellent service, and with the edge capable 360 the speeds are quite good. Standard mini-usb plug - no silly R500 proprietary nokia cables.
