PIN number - Set ON [Archive]

Hi

I have a virgin SIM and it always asks for the PIN number when I log on/switch on the phone.

I have tried to disable the PIN but to no avail.

I am not one for PIN numbers.

Can anyone assists.

I am usung a Nokia 3220.

It also asks for the PIN when I use the sim in the MTN E620, even though it does not connect via the E620. I have requested a 3G complient SIM card.

Have you tried to disable the pin with the Huawei software?

Under Pin Operation choose Disable Pin Check.
It should ask you for your current Pin.
