if you are with FNB, ebucks or fnb web site. Works quick and well and you can use your ebucks.

ye, most internet banking sites allow you to purchase airtime in increments of 10, 20 or 30 grand at a time

Yeah, if you're with ABSA you can buy airtime with internet banking.

Fraudster steals R10 500
The fraudsters had found a way of hacking into personal or business accounts and then transferring money from these accounts to either cell phone or Telkom prepaid accounts.
All three banks confirmed on Monday that their systems have been breached.
Last week, a fraudster hacked into the account of Boaz Chilala, a First National Bank client and swiped R10 500.
FNB declined to say whether the money taken from Chilala's bank account had been transferred into a cell phone prepaid account.

Sounded to me like compromised personal computers not hacked bank accounts.
