Spam SMSs on Vodacom

I just got a new Vodacom Prepaid simcard, and it's been in my phone for about ten minutes and I already got a spam SMS! :eek:

Where do these people get the numbers? or do they just try random numbers until they get one that works? :cool:

That's why I hate vodacom, you'll get much worse than that in due time bro, you'll receive voice messages from hell and phone calls from space :)

lol, but how do they get the numbers? :confused:

Luckily i'm only using it to try out 3G on my new phone, since MTN doesn't have 3G coverage in plett :(, so I won't be using it for long. But i've NEVER received any spam on my MTN number before, and I've had it for nearly 4 years now. :cool:
