Anyone know exactly how the VRewards thing works?

According to the VM website, if you spend R200 you should get R30 vrewards...
In this month I have already loaded R200 (4x R50 vouchers), but when I do the *122# thing it says "V rewards earned this month: R0.00"
Do you need to register for v rewards or something?

Has anyone actually received any V rewards yet?

I have the same question - I loaded R120 and am showing 0 for VRewards...

As far as I know VRewards only gets awarded once you have used the airtime.

Ja that makes sense, otherwise people would just load up on airtime excessively and use it over a few months, while claiming the VRewards.

However I was wondering what happens if I use R100 during the last 2 weeks of a month and another R100 during the first 2 weeks of the next month, does it count? Or would I have to use R200 during 1 month instead of during any 4 week period?

Well that would be kind of sneaky of them :(
It doesn't explicitly state on the website that you need to use your airtime to gain rewards..

And to think they're the ones claiming that their system is simple and has no catches...

Well.. I'm definitely not going to empty my account on purpose just to gain 30 bucks..

VRewards are loaded to your account at the end of the month, so only R200 will be included in this month's calculation. The more airtime you use in a month, the more VRewards you earn.

You can only receive VRewards once you start making calls and sending messages.

I think I should forward this question to Virgin Mobile because everyone has got a different answer to this.

I also don't know exactly how it works so I can't give a answer myself. I'll post the reply I receive from them here as soon as I get it. With the long weekend in mind I should get a answer by Wednesday.

I phoned virgin last night about vrewards....basically the vrewards aint working properly yet. The dude said it will take another 4 weeks for it to be working. He also said that virgin has a record of all airtime and it will register once they have sorted out everything..

So dont worry guys, you are being credited with vrewrds, its just not showing up now.....

And, a little while later i checked my airtime, and they had added that R80 to my airtime balance. Then i rechecked my vrewards, and a message came up that said something like opps, sorry we have ****ed up again, please check again later.

But now hang on, i though it was up to you what you wanted to do with the vrewards. They cant automatically add that to your airtime. I certaintly didnt want that to happen and am actually annoyed about this.

Wait let me phone them....

mmmm,
Wait a min, I also read that somewhere in the FYI! But this return-as-airtime route would have been my choice anyhow. So no problems here.

I'm just wondering how much Vrewards one get for say using Rx. Would be nice to know.
